Delegation from Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Justice Visited ICDPASO Secretariat

Beijing, April 27, 2026 – Mr. DENG Zhongwen, Director-General of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Justice, and Mr. WANG Tianxi, Director of the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, led a delegation to visit the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO).

Mr. Deng Zhongwen presented the work carried out by Guangzhou in building a pioneer city in foreign-related rule of law, providing judicial support for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, delivering commercial legal services for the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair), and advancing the development of an international and law-based business environment. Mr. WANG Tianxi noted that the two sides could conduct cooperation in case studies, professional training, and cross-border dispute resolution.

Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of ICDPASO, introduced the operational structure, membership cooperation network, one-stop commercial legal service system and other operational information.

Moving forward, the two sides will base themselves on Guangzhou’s geographical advantage as an international trade center and ICDPASO’s international resources to deepen whole-chain cooperation in cross-border commercial dispute prevention, mediation and arbitration, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Belt and Road Initiative.
