ICDPASO Was Invited to Attend the Inauguration of the School for the Foreign-Related Rule of Law of Renmin University of China and the Seminar on Foreign-Related Rule of Law and the Development of the Rule of Law in China

Beijing, April 25, 2026 – the inauguration of the School for the Foreign-Related Rule of Law of Renmin University of China (Advisory Committee Member of ICDPASO) and the seminar on foreign-related rule of law and the development of the rule of law in China were successfully held. Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), was invited to attend the event and delivered remarks during the discussion session on foreign-related rule of law and the development of the rule of law in China.
Secretary-General Jason CHIA extended warm congratulations on the inauguration of the Foreign-Related Rule of Law School and the successful convening of the seminar. He also shared his insights on the role of international organizations as platforms in advancing foreign-related rule of law. He noted that, in the context of continuously advancing high-standard opening up, international organizations can leverage their platform advantages that span multiple legal systems, fields, and stakeholders. They can facilitate communication and collaboration among universities, practice-oriented departments, legal service institutions, and international partners, while providing support in areas such as rule innovation, mechanism coherence, capacity building, talent cultivation, and practical cooperation.
Mr. Jason CHIA further stated that ICDPASO stands ready to continue playing its platform role, deepen exchanges and cooperation with universities, research institutions, and the legal practice community, and strengthen coordination in areas including foreign-related rule of law research, talent development, professional training, and the construction of dispute prevention and settlement mechanisms, thereby contributing to the advancement of foreign-related rule of law.
