INVITATION|Johannesburg Arbitration Week (JAW)

Supported by the ICDPASO, the Johannesburg Arbitration Week (JAW) will be held in South Africa from 5–7 May 2026.This event is hosted by the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA, ICDPASO Council member).

JAW 2026 is a flagship event on the African dispute resolution calendar, bringing together leading arbitrators, legal practitioners, corporates, investors, policymakers and industry experts.

Under the theme “Arbitration in a fragmented global order: the future of trade, investment and sustainable development,” the programme will explore the key forces shaping arbitration across Africa and globally. Sessions will address critical topics including geopolitical risk, enforcement challenges, energy and infrastructure disputes, mining and natural resources, ESG considerations, and the growing role of technology in arbitration.

JAW 2026 provides a unique platform to gain strategic insights, engage with leading voices, and build meaningful connections across sectors and jurisdictions.
