ICDPASO Secretary-General Invited to Attend the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Henan Equipment Manufacturing Association and the Smart Equipment Going Global Exchange Conference

Zhengzhou, Henan Province, March 26, 2026 - The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Henan Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and the Smart Equipment Going Global Exchange Conference was successfully held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. At the invitation of The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Machinery Sub-council (CCPIT Machinery Sub-council) and the Henan Equipment Manufacturing Association, Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), attended the event and delivered a keynote speech.
Under the title “Planning Before Action: Risk Prevention, Control, and Compliance Guidance for the International Operations of Machinery Industry Enterprises,” Secretary-General Jason CHIA took the current international landscape and the policies and regulations of key countries as examples to systematically analyze the complex international environment and multidimensional legal risks currently faced by machinery industry enterprises in the course of “going global.” He pointed out that equipment manufacturing enterprises should strengthen strategic foresight, embed compliance management and risk prevention and control throughout the entire process of international operations, and establish an institutional system that organically integrates dispute prevention and dispute resolution. Secretary-General Jason CHIA further introduced ICDPASO’s professional strengths in building a one-stop dispute resolution mechanism that prioritizes dispute prevention, promoting the integration of legal and business practices in the formulation of international rules, and participating in international governance. He emphasized that professional legal support and international cooperation can provide stability and safeguards for enterprises expanding overseas and pursuing global development. He called on all parties to strengthen collaboration, jointly improve the international commercial legal services system, and support equipment manufacturing enterprises in achieving steady and sustainable progress under a high-standard opening-up framework.
The conference brought together representatives from international organizations, government agencies, industry associations, research institutions, manufacturing enterprises, as well as the financial services, legal, and technology sectors. During the conference, participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics including development trends in the equipment manufacturing industry during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, AI-enabled intelligent manufacturing, intelligent factory systems integration, financial services supporting industrial chain development, and the establishment of overseas warehouses and sales networks. Together, they explored new pathways for the high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry and new opportunities for internationalization.
