The International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization held the Council Meeting

Beijing, February 11, 2026 - The International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) held the Council Meeting in a hybrid online and offline format, with 14 council member representatives in attendance. 

Mr. LIU Jiannan, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade(CCPIT) and the China Chamber of International Commerce(CCOIC), attended the meeting. Following deliberation and approval by the Council, Mr. LIU Jiannan officially assumed the role of Chairman of ICDPASO and delivered a speech.

In his address, Chairman LIU Jiannan noted that the current international commercial environment is undergoing profound changes. ICDPASO must stay true to its founding mission of providing diversified dispute prevention and resolution services, protect the legitimate rights and interests of all parties on an equal footing, and foster a fair, efficient, and predictable international business environment. ICDPASO will accelerate the development of a professional talent pool, build a world-leading one-stop legal service system, expand its global partnership network, actively engage in global governance, and promote the integration of the concept of dispute prevention into more international economic and trade rules. These efforts will help enterprises resolve differences and pursue common development, thereby making greater contributions to building a community with a shared future for mankind and promoting global economic prosperity and stability.

The meeting reviewed and approved the proposal regarding the schedule for the Second General Assembly of ICDPASO and laid out clear plans and directions for the organization’s next-stage work and development.
