Delegation from CCPIT Hunan Visited ICDPASO Secretariat

Beijing, January 29, 2026 - Ms. QING Xiaoying, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Hunan Sub-council (CCPIT Hunan), and her delegation visited the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO). The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on deepening cooperation in the field of commercial dispute prevention and resolution and empowering the international development of Hunan enterprises.
Ms. GUO Yiheng, Director of the Legal Affairs Department of CCPIT Hunan, Ms. YUAN Meng, an official of the department, Ms. YANG Zhaoying, Director of General Affairs Department of ICDPASO, and Mr. ZHONG yuan, Director of Case Management of ICDPASO, participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of ICDPASO, extended a warm welcome to Ms. QING Xiaoying and her delegation. He provided a detailed overview of the organization’s establishment background, development layout, and core advantages. Mr. Jason CHIA highlighted that ICDPASO adheres to its main functions of providing “prevention-oriented” one-stop dispute resolution services and developing rules for the integration of international law and commercial practices, aiming to provide efficient and convenient solutions for global commercial entities.
Ms. QING Xiaoying, Vice President of CCPIT Hunan, highly recognized the professional capabilities and practical achievements of ICDPASO. She stated that as an important window for “opening up” in central China, Hunan’s local enterprises are confronted with increasingly complex risks of cross-border commercial disputes in the process of “going global”. She expressed the hope to establish a normalized cooperation mechanism with ICDPASO to jointly escort the international development of Hunan enterprises.
In the future, the two sides will jointly promote the “Prevention-Mediation-Arbitration” one-stop legal service. They will make concerted efforts in international rule formulation, talent training, and exchanges on the integration of legal and commercial practices to achieve resource complementarity and mutual empowerment, jointly promoting the high-quality development of Hunan’s open economy.
