CCPIT Beijing Delegation Visited ICDPASO Secretariat

Beijing, January 23, 2026 - A delegation led by Mr. ZHANG Jianwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing), visited the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO). 

Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of ICDPASO, extended a warm welcome to Secretary ZHANG Jianwei and his delegation, providing a detailed introduction to the organization’s progress in building its expert pool, case management, membership cooperation, and international exchanges. During the survey, Secretary ZHANG Jianwei stated that CCPIT Beijing would support ICDPASO in areas such as case diversion, serving commercial entities in Beijing, and the promotion of model clauses, noting that both parties will continue to mutually empower and create synergies through major events like the China Beijing International High-Tech Expo and the Beijing International Fair for Investment and Trade. 

The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on deepening strategic cooperation and supporting the construction of the Beijing International Commercial Arbitration Center, focusing on collaboration paths in key areas such as expanding service channels, connecting with premium international resources, jointly cultivating professional talents and experts, and collaborating on research projects. 

Participants in the meeting included Ms. ZHOU Huan, Director of the Dongcheng District Bureau of Justice; Mr. TANG Haijiao, Vice Chairman of CCPIT Beijing; Ms. LI Yong, Director General of the Legal Affairs Department; Mr. LYU Hongjun, Level II Division Rank Official of the Legal Affairs Department; and Ms. YANG Zhaoying, Director of the General Affairs Department of the ICDPASO.
