ICDPASO Secretary-General Invited to Attend Annual Meeting of Beijing-Shandong Legal Experts Committee

Beijing, January 9, 2026 — Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), was invited to attend the Annual Meeting of the Beijing-Shandong Legal Experts Committee.

Against the backdrop of a complex and fast-evolving global trade environment and new challenges facing cross-border business operations, Mr. Jason CHIA outlined ICDPASO’s comprehensive strengths in global governance, rule-making, case management, think tank development, and international engagement. He highlighted that ICDPASO, through its network of 51 members spanning five continents, provides one-stop legal services covering risk early-warning, compliance consulting, good offices and negotiations, third-party expert evaluation, mediation, and arbitration.

By actively participating in global governance platforms such as the Business 20 (B20) and contributing to the development of international standards, ICDPASO is helping to integrate Eastern wisdom—centered on dispute prevention—into the international commercial rule-book. Mr.Jason CHIA emphasized that through proactive risk management, innovative rule-making, and the integration of legal and commercial expertise, ICDPASO is committed to delivering stable and efficient legal safeguards for enterprises expanding overseas.

The event marks an important step in ICDPASO’s efforts to deepen its services for the development of Shandong Province’s outward-looking economy. Moving forward, ICDPASO will establish a regular cooperation mechanism with the Beijing-Shandong Legal Experts Committee to provide customized services spanning from dispute prevention to resolution, thereby jointly supporting enterprises in their high-quality expansion overseas.
