Peking University Global Competence Delegation Visited ICDPASO

Beijing, November 26, 2025 – Peking University’s Global Competence Delegation visited the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO).

Ms. YANG Zhaoying, Head of General Affairs Department of ICDPASO, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and delivered a systematic introduction to the organization’s background, case-related operations, and talent development initiatives. She emphasized that while ICDPASO remains committed to exploring new approaches to cross-border commercial dispute prevention and resolution and new pathways for participating in global governance, it is also actively establishing new paradigms for cultivating and managing talent within international organizations. She expressed hope that more outstanding Peking University students would consider pursuing careers with international organizations and contribute to the cause of global governance.

During the interactive session, faculty and students actively raised questions and engaged in discussions focusing on ICDPASO’s dispute resolution mechanisms, case practices, international cooperation, and the cultivation of foreign-related legal talent.

In her concluding remarks, Ms. ZOU Xia from the Peking University Student Career Center expressed sincere gratitude to ICDPASO for hosting the event. She emphasized that international organizations serve as vital platforms for young students to participate in global governance, and stated that the Peking University International Organizations Talent Office looks forward to deepening cooperation with ICDPASO in areas such as academic exchanges, internship and practical programs, and other related fields.
