Legal-Enterprise Salon Empowers Enterprises in Global Expansion

Beijing, November 18, 2025 - The 7th Zijin legal-enterprise salon, hosted by the Beijing Dongcheng District Bureau of Justice, organized by the Dongcheng District Lawyers Association, and co-organized by the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), was successfully held.


Ms. ZHOU Huan, Director of the Dongcheng District Bureau of Justice, emphasized in her opening remarks that strengthening the international rule of law is crucial for serving high-standard opening up. Dongcheng District is committed to creating a first-class, internationalized business environment. She expressed hope for continued and deepened cooperation among all parties to further integrate legal services with real-world industries, thereby providing solid support for businesses “going global”.



Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of ICDPASO, noted that as one of the initiating units of the Legal Escort Alliance for IP Overseas Expansion, ICDPASO places high importance on dispute prevention, actively participates in global governance, and has established a team of international experts. He stated that ICDPASO is willing to work with all parties through the Legal Escort Alliance for IP Overseas Expansion, an efficient platform pooling professional expertise, to jointly support enterprises in their global expansion.



Mr. LONG Haitao, President of the Dongcheng District Lawyers Association, provided an update on the latest developments of the Legal Escort Alliance for IP Overseas Expansion and announced the list of new member units.



During the thematic session, four experts delivered in-depth interpretations and shared practical insights on topics including overseas intellectual property risks for Chinese enterprises, antitrust regulations in Southeast Asia, international investment arbitration mechanisms, and guidance for investment implementation in Thailand.



The event featured lively discussions. Enterprise representatives unanimously agreed that the salon offered substantial content and strong practical guidance, which helped clarify compliance pathways for international development and provided a practical legal “toolkit” for navigating complex overseas challenges. This significantly bolstered their confidence and conviction in making informed global expansion decisions.
