Officials from the Beijing Dongcheng District Committee of the Communist Party of China visited the Xiamen Representative Office

Xiamen, Noveber 6, 2025 – Mr. SUN Yang, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the CPC Beijing Dongcheng District Committee, visited the Xiamen Representative Office of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO).

Mr. WU Shaoying, Senior Consultant of the Xiamen Representative Office, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Beijing Dongcheng District. Mr. WU provided a detailed overview of the Representative Office’s significant achievements since its establishment, including serving local enterprises, advancing the development of the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District, and expanding its international influence. Focusing on practical needs of the enterprises, Xiamen Representative Office has created a series of high-end events, organized law-commerce integration exchanges and provided case consultations. This has not only enhanced Xiamen’s international influence in the field of foreign-related rule of law but also provided local enterprises with one-stop and full-chain dispute prevention and settlement services, helping Xiamen build a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment.

Dongcheng District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality has provided substantial support for the operation of ICDPASO’s global headquarters. Mr. SUN Yang fully affirmed ICDPASO’s proactive efforts in optimizing the local business environment and enhancing the influence of foreign-related legal services. This exchange further deepened the mutual understanding between both parties in rule of law development, providing robust support for the deep integration of economic development and rule of law advancement in both regions.
