ICDPASO Invited to Attend Seminar on Legal Perspectives of Artificial Intelligence

Time:2025/11/13 BJT

Tianjin, November 7, 2025-the Seminar on Legal Perspectives of Artificial Intelligence hosted by the IPBA AI, APEC, Legal Development & Training Committee, co-organized by the Tianjin University Law School, and supported by the Tianjin Lawyers Association, was successfully held at Tianjin University. YANG Zhaoying, Deputy Director of General Affairs Department of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), was invited to attend and deliver a speech.

YANG Zhaoying explored the opportunities and challenges faced by the commercial legal field in the era of artificial intelligence from the perspective of international organizations. She stated that while artificial intelligence is improving the efficiency of legal work, it has also raised a series of new issues in terms of information authenticity, data compliance, and intellectual property rights. In the face of these challenges, a one-stop international commercial dispute prevention and resolution mechanism, from dispute prevention, mediation to arbitration, can be adopted to resolve disputes involving artificial intelligence in a more efficient and flexible manner. At the same time, she also called on relevant legal professionals to fully utilize international organization platforms to promote the formation of rules and standards in related fields, and to facilitate consensus building among countries in artificial intelligence governance.

This seminar brought together dozens of experts and scholars from international organizations, arbitration institutions, universities, law firms, and enterprises to conduct in-depth exchanges on topics such as artificial intelligence and legal practice, global governance, and intellectual property.
