ICDPASO Secretary-General Attended the International Exchanges Frontier Academic Symposium

Beijing, October 30, 2025 - the International Exchanges Frontier Academic Symposium, hosted by the Institute of International Studies of the Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, was successfully held in Beijing. Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), was invited to attend the symposium and delivered a keynote speech at the sub-forum on "Implementing the Global Governance Initiative and Promoting the Building of a Human Community with a Shared Future."

In his speech titled"Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement and Global Governance from the Perspective of an International Organization," Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of ICDPASO, elaborated that establishing efficient and fair mechanisms for preventing and settling international commercial disputes is crucial for improving the global governance system, optimizing the international business environment, and fostering an open world economy. Drawing on ICDPASO's innovative practices, he highlighted its insights and solutions in the field of international dispute resolution, underscoring ICDPASO's role as an international organization in promoting collaborative rule-making and facilitating high-standard opening-up. He stated that ICDPASO will continue to dedicate itself to building an open, inclusive, fair, and efficient platform for dispute prevention and settlement, actively engaging in the reform of the global governance system to contribute professional expertise to the creation of a more stable and equitable international commercial environment.
