ICDPASO Secretariat visited Yunnan Provincial Lawyers Association

Yunnan, October 13, 2025 - a delegation led by Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), paid a visit to the Yunnan Provincial Lawyers Association. Ms.ZHANG Hui Vice President of the Yunnan Provincial Lawyers Association, Mr. TANG Qihui, Deputy Secretary-General, Mr. TANG Chao, Director of the South Asia and Southeast Asia Foreign-related Legal Business Research Committee, along with heads of relevant departments of the Lawyers Association, participated in the discussion.

During the meeting, Secretary-General Jason CHIA provided a detailed introduction to ICDPASO's platform advantages and service systems in areas such as dispute prevention, mediation, and arbitration. He emphasized Yunnan's geographical advantage as a frontier for opening up to South Asia and Southeast Asia and expressed a willingness to conduct in-depth cooperation with the Yunnan Provincial Lawyers Association in areas such as professional training, case studies, and the alignment of legal resources. Vice President ZHANG Hui introduced the development of the Yunnan Provincial Lawyers Association in the field of international legal services over the past year. She looked forward to leveraging ICDPASO's international platform resources to jointly explore innovative approaches to foreign-related legal services and help Yunnan lawyers enhance their capabilities in international commercial legal services. The two sides reached a consensus on establishing a regular cooperation mechanism, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent advancement of specific cooperation projects.
