ICDPASO Secretariat Visited The High People's Court of Yunnan Province

Kunming，October 14, 2025 - Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) with his delegation, visited The High People's Court of Yunnan Province. Mr. YANG Minghai, Deputy Chief Judge of the Case-Filing Division, Ms. SHEN Ling, Deputy Chief Judge of the Intellectual Property Division attended the meeting. 

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on topics such as serving the construction of a radiation center for South Asia and Southeast Asia, exploring regional cooperation in international commercial dispute prevention and resolution mechanisms, as well as the exchange and cultivation of young legal talents. They also reached a preliminary consensus on strengthening the sharing of expert resources and jointly organizing events, among other collaborative efforts. This exchange has laid a solid foundation for subsequent cooperation between the two parties. In the future, ICDPASO and the Yunnan Provincial High People's Court will further align their resources, refine cooperation plans, and jointly explore the establishment of a commercial legal cooperation mechanism tailored to regional characteristics, providing stronger legal safeguards for promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and South Asia as well as Southeast Asia.
