The Secretary-General of ICDPASO was Invited to Attend the "Belt and Road" Commercial Legal Services Sub-forum of the 2025 Eurasian Economic Forum

Beijing, September 23, 2025-Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), was invited to attend the "Belt and Road" Commercial Legal Services Sub-forum of the 2025 Eurasian Economic Forum, which was co-hosted by the Belt and Road Legal Services Alliance, the Department of Justice of Shaanxi Province, and the People's Government of Xi'an Municipality. With the theme of "Deepening Connectivity and Jointly Building a Rule-of-Law Silk Road", this forum conducted in-depth discussions on the cooperation of commercial legal services in the Eurasian region.

Mr. Jason CHIA delivered a speech focusing on the multi-dimensional settlement mechanism for foreign-related commercial disputes and ICDPASO's one-stop dispute resolution legal services. He stated that since the proposal of the Belt and Road Initiative more than a decade ago, it has transformed from a grand blueprint into tangible achievements, and its in-depth development cannot be separated from the guarantee of the rule of law. The rule of law is not only a "passport" for the Belt and Road Initiative to go global, but also a "safety valve" to cope with various uncertain risks and challenges. In the process of promoting the cooperation in Belt and Road commercial legal services, the development of multi-dimensional commercial dispute settlement mechanisms has become a key measure to optimize the law-based business environment. All regions are actively exploring and innovating multi-dimensional dispute mediation mechanisms to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of resolving enterprise-related disputes.
