The Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization Visited the China Chamber of International Commerce

BEIJING, August 18, 2025 - Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) with his delegation, paid a visit to the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC, ICDPASO Council member) and held a discussion with Mr. SUN Xiao, Secretary-General of CCOIC, Mr. XU Jinli, Director of the Department of Bilateral Cooperation, and Mr. ZHU Jiwei, Deputy Director of the Department of Multilateral Cooperation (Secretariat of the National Committee of International Chamber of Commerce in China).

During the meeting, ICDPASO Secretary-General Jason CHIA and CCOIC Secretary-General SUN Xiao exchanged views on topics including cooperation in the field of law and business, the formulation and improvement of international rules, and how to provide targeted and one-stop commercial legal services for key industry enterprises. They also reached a preliminary consensus on strengthening the sharing of expert resources and jointly organizing international events. Both sides agreed that this exchange has injected new impetus into expanding the scope of cooperation. In the future, they will establish a regular communication mechanism and work together to provide more efficient and predictable dispute resolution solutions for international commercial entities, jointly building a solid backing for the globalization of enterprises.
