Organization for Trade Development and Standards Cooperation visited Secretariat of the ICDPASO

Beijing, Aug. 1st, 2025 - Mr. YAO Xin, Secretary-General of the Organization for Trade Development and Standards Cooperation (The Organisation pour le Développement du Commerce et la Coopération en matière de Normes, ODCCN), visited the Secretariat of International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO).

Mr. Jason CHIA, the Secretary-General of ICDPASO, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Mr. YAO Xin provided an overview of ODCCN and put forward proposals and expectations on mutual cooperation. Mr. Jason CHIA introduced ICDPASO’s core businesses and the concept of dispute prevention, and expressed his willingness to engage in practical cooperation with ODCCN. The two sides held in-depth discussions on cooperation items, including formulation of international standards, the sharing of expert resources and co-hosting of conferences, establishing new pathways for jointly participation in global governance.
