ICDPASO Launches the “ICDPASO & We Members Joint Open Day” Initiative
Time:2025/07/11 BJT
To further promote the integration of international business and legal services and to establish a long-term cooperative mechanism between the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organisation (ICDPASO) and its members, ICDPASO has officially launched the “ICDPASO & We Members Joint Open Day” initiative. The initiative has recently been approved by the ICDPASO Council. It is now being implemented under the coordination of the Secretariat in collaboration with members worldwide.
This initiative aims to create an open and collaborative platform that fosters resource sharing and complementary strengths among global members. It also serves as a bridge for in-depth dialogue and practical cooperation with stakeholders from government agencies, enterprises, law firms, academic institutions, industry associations, and other sectors. By institutionalising member engagement through showcasing services, facilitating resource matching, and releasing joint research outcomes, ICDPASO seeks to contribute to the coordination of international commercial norms and the advancement of multilateral cooperation.
ICDPASO currently has 51 members, including national chambers of commerce, industrial associations, legal service agencies, universities and think tanks, covering over 100 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, Africa, North America and South America. Leveraging this extensive global membership network, the “ICDPASO & We Members Joint Open Day”— one of ICDPASO’s regular activity mechanisms—will first be launched at its headquarters in Beijing and representative office in Xiamen, and will gradually expand to other countries and regions where member institutions are located. The initiative includes a wide range of activities such as rotating consultation sessions, thematic lectures, closed-door roundtables, themed exhibitions, resource-matching events, and outcome releases. With this modular design, ICDPASO and its members aim to jointly showcase innovative practices in promoting legal-business integration and fair trade, while providing an effective platform for communication and cooperation among all participants.
ICDPASO warmly welcomes institutions and professionals from all sectors to follow and engage in the “ICDPASO & We Members Joint Open Day” events, and to work together in advancing innovative and practical approaches to global commercial dispute prevention and resolution.
