ICDPASO Open Day —“Beijing Lawyers Association (BLA) visited ICDPASO” Successfully Held

BEIJING, June 5, 2025，ICDPASO Open Day -“Beijing Lawyers Association (BLA) visited ICDPASO” was successfully held in Beijing. This event was co-organized by International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) and Beijing Lawyers Association.

During the event, Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of ICDPASO, delivered a speech on ICDPASO’s Integration of Law and Business, Promotion of International Dispute Prevention, and Development of the Legal Services Industry.  YANG Chen, Vice President of Beijing Lawyers Association, delivered a speech on the main situation of Beijing Lawyers Association and its complementary developmemt with ICDPASO. ZHONG Yuan, the Project Manager of ICDPASO, introduced the basic situation, organizational structure and main business of ICDPASO to the visiting guests. The introduction also shared with the guests the dispute prevention cases, which deepened the theoretical and practical understanding of ICDPASO and the work of dispute prevention and resolution. 

During the discussion, JIANG Shanhe, Deputy Director of Beijing Lawyers Association Foreign Legal Services Special Committee, WU Chen, Director of Beijing Lawyers Association Professional Committee of International Trade Law, ZHENG Hua, Director of Beijing Lawyers Association Professional Committee of Laws Relating to Taiwan , Hong Kong and Macao and Overseas Chinese, and JIANG Jinji, Deputy Director of Beijing Lawyers Association Professional Committee of Competition and Anti-trust Law, introduced the work situation of the Specialized Working Committees and the Professional Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association separately. Subsequently, the attendees had a discussion and exchange on the current situation and development of international commercial disputes and cross-border commercial dispute resolution mechanisms triggered by the trend of reciprocal tariffs. SUN Lei, Deputy Director of Beijing Lawyers Association Professional Committee of International Trade Law, DONG Mei, Deputy Director of Beijing Lawyers Association Professional Committee of Laws Relating to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao and Overseas Chinese, HUANG Guilin, Deputy Director of Beijing Lawyers Association Professional Committee of Laws Relating to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao and Overseas Chinese, and DU Mingzhu, Secretary of Beijing Lawyers Association Professional Committee of International Trade Law, attended the discussion.
