China Council for International Investment Promotion visited the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

Beijing, May 22, 2025 - Ms. ZHOU Xiaoyan, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIIP) and her delegation visited the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO). The two sides conducted extensive exchanges on legal and commercial integration cooperation in the field of international investment promotion.

Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the ICDPASO extended a warm welcome to Ms. ZHOU Xiaoyan and her delegation, andprovided a systematic introduction to ICDPASO's background of establishment, responsibility and mission, as well as membership composition. He also shared progress made by ICDPASO in areas such as  prevention and resolution services, event organization, and participation in international governance. Ms. ZHOU Xiaoyan expressed sincere congratulations on ICDPASO's achievements and provided an overview of CCIIP's basic operations and recent activities. 

During the exchanges, the two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics of mutual interest, including investment dispute prevention and resolution, international rule-making, and the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents in international law and commerce. They also exchanged views and reached a consensus on cooperation matters such as expert recommendations, joint training programs, and event organization. Both parties agreed to leverage their respective resources and professional strengths to maintain close communication and pursue practical cooperation across multiple fields, jointly providing higher-quality services and more comprehensive support for Chinese enterprises in cross-border investment and trade.
