ICDPASO paid a visit toBeijing Association for the Promotion of Multiaspect Intermediation and Development

BEIJING, Morning of May 16, 2025- A delegation led by Mr. Jason CHIA, Secretary-General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), visited the Beijing Association for the Promotion of Multiaspect Intermediation and Development (BAPMID). Mr. ZHAI Jingmin, President of the BAPMID, warmly welcomed the visit of ICDPASO and introduced the development history, responsibilities, business process, membership profile and overall work situation of the BAPMID, as the first self-regulatory organisation at the provincial level in China to provide services for industrial and professional mediation organisations, and shared the experience of BAPMID in the construction of coordinating mediation-arbitration.

The two sides engaged in discussions and exchanges on topics such as collaborative governance in diversified dispute resolution, arbitration-mediation and litigation-mediation, international development, credibility enhancement, and talent cultivation, and reached a consensus on the establishment of a regular mechanism for co-operation and exchanges.
