ICDPASO participated in the 2025 B20 Integrity & Compliance Task Force Second Meeting

Beijing, May 8, 2025 - The International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) online participated in the second meeting of Business 20 (B20) Integrity & Compliance task force. At the meeting, Mr. JIA Shen,  Director of the General Affairs Department of the ICDPASO, discussed with members of the task force and experts from various countries on the first draft of the policy paper. Mr. JIA Shen introduced the dispute prevention business of ICDPASO and suggested paying attention to the risk control issues of commercial contracts underlying various recommendations of the task force. In light of the characteristics of relevant commercial contracts, guiding content should be added to the text of the policy paper to provide a reference for parties to draft relevant clauses on dispute prevention and resolution in contracts. This recommendation gains practical relevance amid the growing global adoption of international conventions including the New York Convention and Singapore Convention on Mediation, which increasingly govern cross-border commercial dispute mechanisms. In the future, ICDPASO will continue to actively participate in the meetings of the B20 Task Force, propose targeted policy recommendations based on its role positioning and professional strengths, further enhance its international engagement, and deeply participate in global governance.
