Seminar on Legal Risk Prevention and Dispute Resolution for Engineering Trade and Investment in Africa Successfully Held in Xiamen

Xiamen, April 16, 2025 - Recently, the “Maritime Silk Road Arbitration Legal Forum: Safeguarding Enterprises Global Expansion Series “Legal Risk Prevention and Dispute Resolution for Engineering Trade and Investment in Africa” was successfully held in Xiamen.

Participants engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding China’s engineering project, trade, and investment development across Africa, analyzing political, financial, legal, and security risks faced by enterprises. The seminar proposed effective dispute resolution strategies and offered valuable insights for mitigating legal risks and addressing conflicts within the African market.

The event was jointly organized by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) Fujian Sub-Commission and the Arbitration Center Across the Straits (ACAS), with support from the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) (Xiamen) Representative Office, attracted over 70 professionals specializing in engineering, international trade, cross-border investment, and commercial legal services participated.
