ICDPASO High-Level Dialogue was Successfully Held in Beijing

Beijing April 15, 2025 – The International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) held the ICDPASO High-Level Dialogue in Beijing. Distinguished guests, including REN Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), HUANG Wei, Deputy Director of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, LI Mingzheng, Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Justice of the PRC, SUN Xinjun, Secretary of Beijing Dongcheng District Committee of the Communist Party of China, and ZHANG Yuejiao, Honorary Chairperson of ICDPASO, Former Chairman&Judge on the Appellate Body of the World Trade Organization, Michael Kuper, President of Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (ICDPASO Member) delivered speeches for the event. The event was chaired by YU Jianlong, Chairman of ICDPASO. During the event, ICDPASO announced the inauguration of its new global headquarters. Panelists engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussion on topics such as development of international commercial dispute prevention and settlement under the new era of globalization and topic of the risk management and full-chain legal services of international culture and entertainment industry.

Since its establishment, ICDPASO has been dedicated to delivering comprehensive full-chain commercial legal services covering both dispute prevention and settlement. This event marks a new phase of development for the ICDPASO, which will continue to promote the synergistic development of dispute prevention and resolution mechanisms, and fostering mutually beneficial cooperation among enterprises worldwide, the ICDPASO aims to create advance legal conditions that support a stable and predictable international business environment.

The event was hosted by the ICDPASO, gathering over 100 representatives from Chinese government bodies, including the Supreme People’s Court of PRC, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), Ministry of Civil Affairs (MCA), Dongcheng District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice and alongside ICDPASO’s members and legal experts from China and abroad.
