China University of Political Science and Law visited ICDPASO

BEIJING, April 3, 2025-a delegation from China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), including Vice President LIU Yanhong, Director of the Academic Affairs Office LUO Zhimin, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office DING Ru, Deputy Dean of the School of International Law LIU Li, Deputy Dean of Academy For The Foreign-Related Rule Of Law WANG Wei, Director of Institute of International Economic Law, School of International Law FAN Xiaobo, and Associate Professor of the Institute of Academy For The Foreign-Related Rule Of Law ZHANG Nan, paid a visit to the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), and held a symposium with Secretary-General SHEN Peilan and other representatives of the ICDPASO to discuss cooperation in the areas of foreign-related rule of law talent cultivation, joint activities, and research projects.

At the symposium, Vice President LIU Yanhong introduced in detail the innovative initiatives and achievements of CUPL in the cultivation of foreign-related rule of law talents, the university attaches great importance to the cultivation of foreign-related rule of law talents, and actively explores the mode of collaborative cultivation to build an all-around, multi-level cultivation system through multi-party co-operation with governmental departments, international organisations, arbitration institutions and so on. Secretary-General SHEN Peilan warmly welcomed the CUPL delegation and introduced the progress and future plans of the ICDPASO in areas such as foreign-related rule of law talent cultivation, professional talent development for arbitrators and mediators, internships, and talent exchanges. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on collaborative training models for foreign-related rule of law talents, talent cultivation programs, practical mentors, internship opportunities,jointly organizing academic activities and conducting research projects.
