The Law Society of Singapore Visited International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

BEIJING, March. 31, 2025 - The President of the Law Society of Singapore (ICDPASO Council member), Ms. Lisa Sam, and her delegation paid a visit to the Secretariat of the ICDPASO. 

Ms. SHEN Peilan, Secretary-General of the ICDPASO extended a warm welcome to President Ms. Lisa Sam and her delegation, providing an overview of ICDPASO’s establishment background, membership profile, dispute prevention and resolution services, event organization, and international governance initiatives.  Ms. Lisa Sam congratulated ICDPASO on its progress and introduced the Law Society of Singapore’s recent activities and developments. The two sides also engaged in in-depth discussions on potential collaborations, including joint training programs, participation in international forums, and expert recommendations.

During the meeting, attending legal experts exchanged views on topics such as alternative dispute resolution, trends in Singapore’s dispute resolution landscape, and dispute prevention mechanisms. The session was chaired by Mr. Jason JIA,  Director of the General Affairs Department of the Secretariat. Nearly twenty members of the Law Society of Singapore attended the meeting.
