In her remarks, Secretary-General Ms. SHEN emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in anti-corruption efforts, noting that while these emerging technologies present challenges, they also offer unprecedented opportunities. As a member of the Integrity and Compliance Task Force, ICDPASO will actively provide technical support and professional advice to contribute to the B20's work in this field and promote the healthy development of global business governance and the commercial environment.
Established in 2010, the B20 has developed into an important component of the G20 framework, serving as a key platform for the global business community to participate in international economic governance and promote world economic growth. The B20 is organized each year by the G20 presidency, with South Africa hosting the 2025 edition.
The B20's mission is to represent the business community in providing recommendations to the G20 on global growth strategies and governance solutions. Its annual work primarily consists of convening task force meetings and summits, culminating in a policy recommendation report submitted to the G20 Summit, thereby contributing to strong, balanced and sustainable global economic growth.
The Integrity and Compliance B20 Task force plays a pivotal role in fostering a transparent and ethical business environment on a global scale. The Task Force will develop recommendations to combat corruption, enhance transparency, and foster robust compliance systems. The focus will include aligning global regulatory frameworks and encouraging responsible business.
