The International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization and the Asian Financial Cooperation Association Successfully Held a Seminar on Legal Risks of “Belt and Road” Investment and Financing

On 30 October 2024, a seminar on the legal risks of "Belt and Road” investment and financing was successfully held in Beijing, which was co-hosted by International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) and Asia Financial Cooperation Association (AFCA, Member of ICDPASO Council). With the theme of "Legal Environment of Investment and Financing and Analysis of Typical Default and Dispute Cases in Southeast Asia", the seminar was hosted by YANG Liyu, Deputy Secretary General of AFCA, QI Jianming, Secretary General of AFCA, and SHEN Peilan, Secretary General of ICDPASO delivered opening speeches for the seminar. At the meeting, DAI Guanchun, a partner of Jingtian & Gongcheng Law Firm and YUAN Ting, a partner of Zhong Lun Law Firm respectively analyzed and explained classic cases on legal risks in investment business and financing business in Southeast Asia.

In her speech, Ms. SHEN Peilan stated that ICDPASO and AFCA are willing to strengthen exchanges with all parties, work closely to provide professional support and protection for the Belt and Road Initiative, and contribute to the promotion of the sustainable development of the global economy.
