A Supply Dispute Concerning A Chemical Product of a country in Central Asia

The Embassy of a Central Asia country in China addressed a letter to the Secretariat of the ICDPASO, requesting assistance in resolving issues related to a Chinese company's non-performance of delivery obligations under contracts. From May to August 2021, both parties entered into five contracts for a certain chemical product with the subject amount of USD 6 million. However, after the initial dispatch, the Chinese company discontinued most of the subsequent shipments and disappeared. Thus the Central Asia company turned to various agencies for assistance but to no avail.
