The member Liaison Meeting Between the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, the Union of African Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture & Professions and the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization Secretariat

On August 1, 2024, Ms. SHEN Peilan, Secretary General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), held an online member liaison meeting with Mr. Hosam Baharia, Deputy Secretary General of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) and the Union of African Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture & Professions (UACCIAP).

The Secretariat presented the recent operations and the results achieved, and Mr. Hosam Baharia expressed his appreciation for the the work of the ICDPASO and his expectation for future cooperation.He emphasized that the FEDCOC and UACCIAP are willing to join hands with ICDPASO to actively promote the concept of dispute prevention in Egypt and the African region, to jointly facilitate international trade and investment, and to build a platform for international exchanges and cooperation.The two sides also discussed cooperation on jointly organizing online seminars, training, and providing commercial legal services, etc. In the future, the two sides will deepen their cooperation and jointly provide convenient and efficient legal services for cross-border enterprises in Africa, and contribute to the construction of a more just and transparent legal business environment.
