The Member Liaison Meeting between the Secretariat of International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) and the China International Contractors Association(CHINCA)

On 25 June 2024, the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) paid a visit to  the China International Contractors Association(CHINCA, member of ICDPASO Supervisory Committee). Mr. XIN Xiuming, Vice Chairman of the CHINCA and Ms. SHEN Peilan, Secretary General of the ICDPASO attended the meeting.

Mr. XIN Xiuming welcomed the visit of the ICDPASO Secretariat and introduced the CHINCA’s background, main business and recent development Ms. SHEN Peilan introduced the progress made by the secretariat in the areas of member cooperation, rules, case handling, talent cultivation and participation in global governance. The two sides held in-depth discussions on the cooperation in conducting seminars, expert lectures, dispute prevention and resolution in international engineering projects, and mediator training. Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in these areas in the future and to jointly promote mediation to play an active role in international engineering dispute resolution, providing members with fair, reasonable and efficient dispute resolution services.
