The Member Liaison Meeting between the Secretariat of International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) and the Asian Financial Cooperation Association (AFCA）

On 13 June 2024, the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) paid a visit to the Asian Financial Cooperation Association (AFCA, ICDPASO Council Member). Mr. QI Jianming, Secretary-General-to-be of AFCA, Ms. YANG Liyu, Executive Deputy Secretary General, and Ms. SHEN Peilan, Secretary General of the ICDPASO attended the meeting.

Secretary General Mr. QI Jianming welcomed the visit of the ICDPASO Secretariat and introduced the AFCA’s background, membership and recent development. Secretary General Ms. SHEN Peilan introduced the ICDPASO’s progress made in the areas of dispute prevention, international standards, talent cultivation and global governance. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on strengthening cooperation in the areas of expert recommendation, training activities, and legal services for dispute prevention and settlement. In the future, ICDPASO will deepen its cooperation with the AFCA to jointly promote the construction of the rule of law in the financial sector and provide stronger legal safeguards for the sound development of the financial community.
