The Member Liaison Meeting Between the Bangladesh Indenting Agents' Association and the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

On May 30, 2024, Ms. SHEN Peilan, Secretary General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), held an online member liaison meeting with A K M Azad, the President of the Bangladesh Indenting Agents' Association (BIAA, member of ICDPASO Advisory Committee) and Mr. M Bashir Ullah Bhuiyan, the Senior Vice-President of the BIAA.
The Secretariat briefed the BIAA on the latest operation of ICDPASO, and the BIAA expressed its appreciation for the progress made by the secretariat in the areas of dispute prevention, international exchanges and member cooperation, and hoped that BIAA would further strengthen its interaction with the ICDPASO in the future.The two sides discussed in-depth on expert recommendation, rules revision, transfer of cases and activity organization and reached an intention of cooperation. In the future, the two sides will continue to deepen their cooperation and provide multiple legal services on commercial dispute prevention and settlement for Bangladeshi cross-border enterprises.
