The Member Liaison Meeting Between the China Maritime Law Association and the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

On 29 May 2024, the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) paid a visit to the China Maritime Law Association (CMLA, member of the ICDPASO Supervisory Committee). Ms. CHEN Bo, Secretary General and Ms. QI Ji, Deputy Secretary General of the CMLA, and Ms. SHEN Peilan, Secretary General of the ICDPASO attended the meeting.

Secretary General Ms. CHEN Bo welcomed the visit of the ICDPASO Secretariat and introduced the CMLA’s background, main functions, operational activities and current development. Secretary General Ms. SHEN Peilan introduced the ICDPASO’s progress made in the areas of member cooperation, dispute prevention, rules making, talent cultivation and global governance. The two sides exchanged views on the development trend of international commercial arbitration, better use of ICDPASO’s unique advantages, designing and creating brand forum, and jointly organizing activities.
