The Member Liaison Meeting Between the China Chamber of Commerce and Technology Mexico and the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

On May 23, 2024, Ms. SHEN Peilan, Secretary General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), held an online member liaison meeting with Ms. Amapola Grijalva, the President of the Governing Board of the China Chamber of Commerce and Technology Mexico (member of ICDPASO Advisory Committee) and Mr. Victor Mendez, the President of the Chamber.

The Secretariat reported to the China Chamber of Commerce and Technology Mexico on the latest operation and progress of ICDPASO, and the Chamber expressed its appreciation and briefed Secretary General Ms. SHEN Peilan on the development of the Mexico-China Dispute Settlement Mechanism.

The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening collaboration and project implementation, and reached a consensus on cooperation in dispute prevention, rules, expert recommendation, activity organization and provision of commercial legal services. Both sides agreed to strengthen communication and deepen cooperation, and jointly provide dispute prevention and settlement services for cross-border trade and investment of Chinese and Mexican enterprises.
