The Member Liaison Meeting Between the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia and the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

Ms. SHEN Peilan, Secretary General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), recently held an online member liaison meeting with Mr. Michael Chai, Deputy Secretary General I cum Chairman of Legal Affairs Committee of The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM, member of ICDPASO Supervisory Committee).

Both parties agreed that they hope to continue to deepen cooperation in the recommendation of mediators and arbitrators, the organization of forum activities, and the revision of Investor-State Arbitration Rules, so as to jointly promote ICDPASO in Malaysia and other members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and to provide alternative, one-stop, and full-chain commercial legal services for international commercial entities from dispute prevention to dispute resolution, providing the international community with a new option for dispute prevention and settlement.
