The President of Hong Kong Legislative Council Andrew Leung Kwan-yuen visited International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) Representative Office (Xiamen)

Recently, the president of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, President Andrew Leung led a delegation of 33 members of the Legislative Council to visit International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) Representative Office (Xiamen).

Ms WEI Qing, Director of the Department of General Affairs of ICDPASO introduced the progress promoted by ICDPASO in the development of global membership networks, the promotion of dispute prevention mechanisms, the dispute settlement rulemaking and the case reception over the past two years.

The two sides jointly reviewed the historical past when members of the ICDPASO preparatory group visited the Hong Kong Legislative Council and listened to President Leung’s opinions and suggestions for preparing to establish the organisation, as well as that President Andrew Leung sent an autography congratulatory letter as essential support on behalf of the Hong Kong Legislative Council to the establishment of ICDPASO. President Andrew Leung praised the achievements of the ICDPASO and looked forward to strengthening communication and exchange with the ICDPASO in the future, including establishing cooperation mechanisms on international commercial dispute prevention and settlement field with the ICDPASO, especially collaborating on mediators and arbitrators training programs and carrying out more comprehensive and extensive exchanges and explorations with ICDPASOs on international commercial dispute prevention and settlement field with the ICDPASO, especially collaborating on mediators and arbitrators training programs and carrying out more comprehensive and extensive exchanges and explorations with ICDPASO.
