2023 International Conference on Global Governance Forum of Digital Economy was successfully held

On the afternoon of July 7, the Global Digital Economy Conference 2023 co-organized by the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), Beijing Insitituion of Technology and Deloitte China was held in Beijing. The forum focused on the theme of building a fair, shared and inclusive digital economy ecosystem based on following four themes: Digital Economy Governance Insight, Digital Governance Framework, Innovation Compliance and Dispute Settlement. Further discuss the new dynamics of the digital economy global governance, enrich new concepts and promote the development of global governance of the digital economy.
Dr. LIU Chao, the Secretary-General of the ICDPASO addressed at the opening and closing ceremony, and expressed that countries around the world are accelerating the development of key areas of the digital economy, the consequent digital economy are also bringing new challenges and problems to the existing international order. Therefor, as an important part of the global governance of the digital economy, ICDPASO has made new initiatives and contributions in terms of diversification of methods, fields and rules of the global governance of the digital economy.
ZHANG Zhen'an, arbitrator of ICDPASO Arbitration Court addressed at the Disputes Settlement session, he analyzed the advanced and flexible nature of the ICDPASO Arbitration Rules in terms of the scope of admissibility, roster of arbitrators, the early dismissal procedure, the seats of arbitration and other aspects about the ICDPASO Arbitration Rules, such as the full respect for party autonomy and the dominant concept of the arbitral tribunal.
As the only international neutral platform that integrates prevention and settlement,ICDPASO bridges the gap between multiple dispute governance mechanisms and provides new ideas and options for diverse and innovative dispute governance mechanisms in the digital economy.
