Delegation from Department of Regional Opening-up of National Development and Reform Commission of China visited the Secretariat of International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

On 2 June 2023, ZHANG Ming, Deputy Director General of the Department of Regional Opening-up of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, visited the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization(ICDPASO).

Dr LIU Chao, Secretary General and Ms WEI Qing, Director of the Department of General Affairs of ICDPASO Secretariat introduced separately the progress of the ICDPASO since its establishment in terms of promotion of the concept of dispute prevention,cultivation of. legal experts as well the case reception. It is hoped that the ICDPASO will give full play to its advantages as an international platform to provide quality and efficient dispute prevention and settlement services for global cross-border trade and investment, taking into account the needs of international market players.

Deputy Director ZHANG Ming highly appreciated the achievements of ICDPASO since its establishment, stating that although the ICDPASO as an international neutral third party, has been operating for a short period of time, it has made encouraging achievements in various aspects such as international rule of law cooperation, international policies making, high-end legal service provision and international rule of law talent training.

In the future , the two sides will strengthen cooperation to promote a high-quality and market-oriented, rule of law and international business environment for the Belt and Road Initiative countries and regions.
