Ms. GAO Xiaoli, Chief Judge of The SPC Civil Adjudication Tribunal No.4 visited the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

On May 29, 2023, Ms. GAO Xiaoli, Chief Judge of The Supreme People's Court of the People's Republic of China (SPC) Civil Adjudication Tribunal No.4, senior judge of the first class, visited the Secretariat of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) with her delegation. China Academy of Arbitration Law, China Maritime Law Association, All China Lawyers Association, Secretariat of the China National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce, China International Contractors Association, China Association of Trade in Services, ICDPASO Secretariat and Beijing Retio Legal & Commercial Service Center for BRI participated the meeting.

 

Chief Judge GAO Xiaoli hosted the meeting and introduced the background and purpose of the research. The representatives of the participating units elaborated the situation of the services provided for the construction of “the Belt and Road Initiatives”, and exchanged and discussed the problems and difficulties encountered in the process of services, and put forward suggestions to improve the relevant substantive legal system and litigation system.
