A Dispute over Trade in Goods in East Asia

An East Asia country’s chamber of commerce and industry - a member of the ICDPASO, forwarded a request for trade assistance from an enterprise of this country. The enterprise and a Chinese enterprise maintained long-term cooperation in the purchase and sale of certain types of minerals. In recent years, due to the epidemic resulting in stagnation of cargo transportation, coupled with poor communication between the two parties, a large number of disputes have arisen. Finally the Chinese enterprise intends to sue the East Asia country’s enterprise, involving an amount of about RMB 30million.
