The Member Liaison Meeting Between the Bar Association of India and the Secretariat of International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

On April 18, 2023, Dr. LIU Chao, Secretary General of the International Commercial Disputes Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), conducted an online meeting with Mr. Prashant Kumar, president of the Bar Association of India (ICDPASO council member).

The Secretariat reported to Mr. Prashant Kumar on the operation and achievements of ICDPASO since its establishment. Mr. Prashant Kumar expressed high praise for the work and results achieved by the ICDPASO in the field of commercial disputes prevention and settlement. He said that the prevention and settlement of commercial disputes is crucial to the development of all developing countries and emerging markets. He proposed that the two parties jointly establish a dispute settlement system and work in concert to provide dispute resolutions. The two sides agreed to work together and share infrastructure, integrate resources for win-win cooperation and build a bridge of communication between different countries.
