The Member Liaison Meeting Between the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa and the Secretariat of International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

Dr. LIU Chao, Secretary General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), recently conducted an online meeting with Adv Michael Kuper SC, Chairman of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA, ICDPASO Council member).

Adv Michael Kuper SC, Chairman of AFSA explored the ways of cooperation between the AFSA and ICDPASO from a Southern African perspective and invited Dr. LIU Chao to participate the event of Johannesburg International Arbitration Week. Dr. LIU Chao expressed his willingness to assist AFSA in establishing the arbitration framework to serve the Southern African Development Community (SADC). The two sides agreed to promote tripartite cooperation between AFSA, the China-Africa Joint Arbitration Centre and ICDPASO and provide diversified legal services to the business community in Southern Africa.
