The Member Liaison Meeting Between EU-China Joint Innovation Center and the Secretariat of International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization

On February 21, 2023, Dr. LIU Chao, Secretary General of the International Commercial Disputes Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), conducted an online meeting with Ambassador. Patrick Nijs, Co-founder of the EU-China Joint Innovation Center (EUCJIC).

Ambassador. Patrick Nijs was briefed on the operation and achievement of the ICDPASO last two year since its establishment. He said that the EUCJIC has been actively promoting business exchanges and cooperation between the EU and China since its establishment in 2017. In the future, the EUCJIC will cooperate with the ICDPASO in holding intellectual property webinars, conducting research on ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) topics and developing international standards.

Dr. LIU Chao appreciated the ongoing support of the EUCJIC. He stated that the ICDPASO is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the EUCJIC, leverage the advantages of the platform to explore new opportunities for cross-border trade and investment, and help enhance international trade cooperation so as to better achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
