The ICDPASO Secretary-General LIU Chao Visited Amb. Edwin Afande, Deputy Head of Mission at the Kenya Embassy in China

On the afternoon of February 7, 2023, Dr. LIU Chao, Secretary General of the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), paid a visit to the Embassy of Kenya in China and had a cordial meeting with the Ambassador, Deputy Head of Mission Edwin Afande on conducting in-depth exchanges on developing friendly cooperation.

Ambassador Edwin extended a warm welcome to Dr. LIU Chao and his delegation, and looks forward to the future vision of the cooperation. The Embassy of Kenya in China looks forward to in-depth cooperation with the ICDPASO for escorting the prevention and settlement of commercial disputes in Kenya's economic, trade and investment fields, and promoting the sustainable development of Kenya's foreign economy and trade. Meanwhile, they hoped that both sides will expand the scale of cooperation, open up new areas of cooperation, and add vitality and support to the development of China-Kenya regional economic and trade cooperation.

Dr. LIU Chao appreciated Ambassador Edwin for his invitation and his attention and trust in the ICDPASO. He stated that as a non-governmental international organization, the ICDPASO is committed to providing internationalized, professional and convenient public legal services for the global business community, promoting the optimization of the global law-based business environment, and pushing forward the establishment of a fair and reasonable international economic order. The ICDPASO Secretariat will work jointly with the Embassy of Kenya in China to build a regular commercial dispute prevention and settlement working mechanism, actively provide international, professional and facilitated public legal services to the global business community including Kenyan companies, and promote an international and law-based business environment and an impartial and reasonable international economic order.
