An online liaison meeting between LIDE China and the Secretariat of ICDPASO was held

On December 15, 2022, an online liaison meeting between LIDE China (Member of ICDPASO Advisory Committee) and the Secretariat of International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) was held, attended by Dr. Ricardo, Co-Chairman & CEO of LIDE China and Dr. LIU Chao, Secretary General of ICDPASO.

 

Ms.Xia Ying, the project manager of ICDPASO Secretariat, briefed LIDE China on the achievements and ongoing efforts undertaken by ICDPASO since its establishment two years ago, reviewed the past cooperation between the two parties, and invited LIDE China to jointly disseminate the concept of dispute prevention and recommend lecturers for ICDPASO mediators training.

 

Dr. Ricardo, Co-Chairman & CEO of LIDE China congratulated ICDPASO on its two years of achievements, and suggested ICDPASO pool the strength of its members, provide a platform for and continue to build a network of international cooperation and exchange. He noted that LIDE China has been actively promoting ICDPASO and the concept of dispute prevention in Brazil and Latin America, looking forward to cooperating with ICDPASO in all aspects in the future.

 

Dr. LIU Chao, Secretary General of ICDPASO expressed his gratitude to LIDE China for its long-standing support. He stated that ICDPASO and LIDE China will carry out practical cooperation in the exchange of international legal professionals, and the hosting of international high-level events. As the only existing international platform in the world that integrates prevention and settlement services for commercial disputes, ICPASO will keep on facilitating the building of a commercial dispute prevention mechanism, and helping cross-border enterprises in Brazil and Latin America to promptly resolve the commercial disputes. ICPASO will also keep on disseminating the concept of integration of dispute prevention and dispute settlement, providing global enterprises in their cross-border operations with a full chain of commercial legal services, including "prevention beforehand, then management and control, and settlement afterward".
