An online liaison meeting between the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RAUIE) and the Secretariat of ICDPASO was held

On December 12, 2022, an online liaison meeting between the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RAUIE)(Member of ICDPASO Advisory Committee) and the Secretariat of International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO) was held, attended by Mr. Mankevich Vitaly, the president of the RAUIE and Ms. Krukovskaya Irina, Deputy Head of the Department of Trade and Economic Cooperation of the RAUIE.

Ms.Xia Ying, the project manager of ICDPASO Secretariat, briefed the RAUIE on the development of the ICDPASO since its establishment two years ago and the progress it has made in providing dispute prevention and resolution services to global business entities. Ms. WEI Qing, Director of the Department of General Affairs of ICDPASO Secretariat,reviewed the past cooperation between the two parties. She expressed the willingness of the ICDPASO to cooperate with the RAUIE in promoting the concept of dispute prevention and holding international high-level conferences and forums, and invited the RAUIE to recommend high-level senior experts as candidates of ICDPASO’s mediator and arbitrator panels.

Mr. Mankevich Vitaly, the president of the RAUIE congratulated the ICDPASO on its two years of achievements. He looked forward to the exchange of international legal professionals and the exploration of further opportunities for cooperation in promoting trade and investment between Russia and Asian countries and in facilitating the establishment of a representative office of ICDPASO in Russia.

Dr. LIU Chao, Secretary General of ICDPASO responded positively to Mr. Mankevich Vitaly's offer of cooperation. He stated that the ICDPASO and the RAUIE will carry out practical cooperation and establish a long-term cooperation mechanism in the exchange of international legal professionals, the prevention and resolution of cross-border commercial disputes, and the hosting of international high-level exchange events. In the future, the ICPASO is willing to cooperate with the RAUIE to build a win-win situation and provide international, professional and facilitated public legal services to the global business community including the Russian and Asian regions, and to promote an international and law-based business environment and a just and reasonable international economic order.
