Asian Financial Cooperation Association and ICDPASO successfully held Industrial Finance Training - Industrial Finance Opportunities and Challenges under Global Changes

The industrial finance training co-hosted by the Asian Financial Cooperation Association (AFCA, Member of ICDPASO Council) and the ICDPASO was held online on November 9, 2022. With the theme of "Industrial Finance Opportunities and Challenges under Global Changes", the training was hosted by WANG Mingkun, General Manager of Galaxy Securities Investment Bank Coordination Department. ZHANG Wenhe, Senior Underwriter of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), and JIANG Qi, Chairman of the Board of Hylands Law Firm, were invited as speakers to give lectures on international project financing and investment insurance, and finance business legal risks and prevention in cross-border supply chain. LIU Chao, Secretary General of the ICDPASO and ZHAO Xianfeng, Deputy Secretary General of the AFCA, delivered opening speeches for the training.

During the training, Mr. ZHANG Wenhe introduced China's foreign investment and the construction of the "the Belt and Road". In addition to the typical mode of international project investment and financing, he also introduced the innovative mode of international project investment and financing. Mr. JIANG Qi introduced the main financing modes of cross-border supply chain finance, legal risks in financial business and their prevention with practical cases based on his rich experience. Two speakers also interacted with the audiences through online Q&A to answer relevant financial questions, which aroused strong responses among the audiences.
