International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization Participated in the 6th Plenary Meeting of International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee Transaction Assurance in E-commerce (ISO/TC 321)

On November 10, 2022, the 6th plenary meeting of the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on Transaction Assurance in E-commerce (ISO/TC 321) was held by virtual meeting with the participation of registered experts from China, France, Japan, Singapore, India. The delegates of the participating countries made targeted and constructive comments on various topics of the working groups and study groups.

The International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), as an A liaison organization of ISO/TC321, has been committed to developing the relevant standard of Transaction Assurance in E-commerce. In this meeting, ICDPASO was deeply involved in the work of the Technical Committee Study Group (ISO/TC321/SG2), innovated the international standard proposal mode, adopted the cooperation mode of A liaison organization and ISO national member, and proposed the international standard ISO/TR 32121 Transaction Assurance in E-commerce—Practices for developing terms of use for B2C E-commerce platform. According to ISO/TC321 Resolution 2022/74, ISO/TC321 will launch a Committee Internal Ballot (CIB) to establish ISO/TR 32121 as a new international standard work item.

ICDPASO has recently applied to become an A liaison organization of more related ISO technical committees, providing innovative ideas to help the development of standardization in more related fields. In the future, ICDPASO will continue to deeply participate and actively promote the development of international standards, and through this work, continue to contribute to the cause of international commercial dispute prevention, and strive to create a legalized and barrier-free trading environment for the global business community.
